New Metzller
Just put a new Metz 880 radial on the rear of my eg,I have a Michelin comader in the front,bias ply,I put about 500 miles on it so far this weekend,handles great,seems to be a good tire.If anybody has been waiting to change,don't be afraid to mix the bias and radial ,no problems yet.

Not recommended from the mfg of every tire out there. Key word is no problems "YET" Hope it stays that way. Just not worth the risk in light of all the adverse recommendations from Mfgrs.

Bad idea, bad advice using a radial and a bias on the same bike; use either one type or the other. You can get away with two different manufacturers in a pinch, like a blow out on a road trip, as long as they are both the same type of tire. Hopefully it works for you.
