Hoffman said the Mongols had been recruiting members of Los Angeles street gangs to assist in their operations.
From what I have read and seen this is part of the problem right here. Letting in street punks that don't even ride to build their numbers. How can you be a MC if you don't require the members to ride. Boys need to have rules and standards and stick to them. Can't be relaxing the rules just to put asses in seats.
So, if law inforcement seizes the Mongols colors, does that mean that the Hells Angles FINALLY own California? That is what all the "chit " has been about all along! Seems like a really good day for the 81's.
IMHO, if they succeed in seizing the Mongols Trademark, 81 will be the next one they go after.
If you want to read a gripping first hand account of what infiltrating the Mongols entails, check out William Queen's book, "Under and Alone". You'll have a whole new appreciation for the success of this recent undercover operation.
It's an well written book and will totally pull you in. Highly recommended.

That probably was a big part of the problem. To them MC stood for MOSTLY CARS.
