Is there anyone that remembers Waco?
How many kids did they kill?
I have a problem with any civilian law enforcement routinely carrying an M-16 with a 30 round magazine inserted into a neighborhood or school with the probability of having a free fire situation and spraying rounds in all directions.
Of course the laws have been re-written that any LE caused deaths and injuries will be charged against the person on the warrant.
We must defend even the guilty with the bill of rights and constitution or it will eventually blow back on us all.

Mongols, The END....

Really? I think it's great that that LEO community got their asses handed to them with regard to the unconstitutional BS that they attempted to use against that club.

I remember at the time that this happened that the LEO's were all talking about how they were gonna use this **** against all clubs...

How'd that work out for them?

This is how they are going after them now: http://www.pasadenastarnews.com/gene...-mongols-patch

If the government is able to take their patch because of the trademark then it will only be time that they start going after "ALL" clubs they think are a "threat". The Mongols have been dumping a ton of money into this case and even if we don't agree with the club and what some think they represent we should be worried what is next. COC's across the country are helping them fight this case because of the treat it can cause to our rights to fly our colors.

It is not over yet. The fight continues in the court system. The decision in that case will set precident on the future of any club or association's 1st Amendment rights. Freedom of expression is still at risk.

Terrible what happened to the guy. I mean that.

BUT...

I have little use for SWAT teams. They do lots and lots and lots of bad things and the collateral damage to their raids such as getting into the wrong house, killing the neighbor's dog with impunity and being general bullies and ******** makes me think that maybe you don't want to play on that team or if you do be prepared for what happens when you mess up -- like not clearly identifying yourself when you bust up someone's home...

HOG, ABATE, and The Blue Knights qualify as a "Gang"

Whose members collectively identify themselves by adopting a group identity, which they use to create an atmosphere of fear or intimidation, frequently by employing one or more of the following: a common name, slogan, identifying sign, symbol, tattoo or other physical marking, style or color of clothing, hairstyle, hand sign or graffiti;
The association may also possess some of the following characteristics:
  1. The members may employ rules for joining and operating within the association.
  2. The members may meet on a recurring basis.
  3. The association may provide physical protection of its members from others.
  4. The association may seek to exercise control over a particular geographic location or region, or it may simply defend its perceived interests against rivals.

This could also describe corporations. Because the description they use is broad they can use it against any organization.
