I was reading this story on another forum and a couple of the guys pointed out a very important fact.

If the cop was shot in the back of the head and the guy was in front of them....how could he shoot him from behind. And then he just "gave up"

sounds to me like the cop was shot in the back of the head by another cop

BUT...

I have little use for SWAT teams. They do lots and lots and lots of bad things and the collateral damage to their raids such as getting into the wrong house, killing the neighbor's dog with impunity and being general bullies and ******** makes me think that maybe you don't want to play on that team or if you do be prepared for what happens when you mess up -- like not clearly identifying yourself when you bust up someone's home...
Do they hide their faces behind black masks because they are ashamed of their behavior of because they are afraid of being recognised?

The only way HOG intimidates me is if I am between them and a buffet...Don't even get me started on dealer events where there is food...

I feel sorry for the agents who take these assignments believing in it and basically give up their family life or totally destroy it and themselves

In the end most get off, a few go to jail for a while. New guys fill the seats and the games go on. Go protect my boarders. Spend my cash on that.

I would hope that they don't use them while serving no knock warrants to avoid shooting any innocents or children that might in the house but I could be wrong.
