Vest with skull on back good or bad?
Seriously, I have been riding for some time now, and I have NEVER run across so many people that are afraid to wear certain clothing or shapes or logos.
If we followed all the rules here (i'd love to take the time to run a search) we would be riding around in our drawers...but then I remember a tgread where a man was beaten because of those so he now rides bareass LOL! From memory: No skulls, no red & no white, no 13's, no 81's, no diamond shapes, no skulls with flames, no pistons, no locations, no yellow and red, no chaps, no fingerless gloves, no vests, no bandanas, etc, etc...
Remember - be respectul - going to an OLMC event - be aware of what you wear. Going to bike night at the local Quaker Steak..you're probably just fine. You wouldn't wear your shorts and tank to your uncles funeral, but that is just fine for a day of yard work...
Wear the damn vest. If someone wants you to take it off, noone is going to walk up and shoot you. They may even explain why it is offensive to them. This has happened to me and it was a polite "we'd rather you take that off" and Mama didn't raise no fool...off it came.
What do people like about skulls? Skulls are probably the most common tattoo out there. Ask any tattoo artist how often he puts skulls on people. Obviously some people think they look cool.
