i thought you might get a kick out of this! i have been riding bikes for over 40 years and most of my friends ride as well. a few years ago i had a neighbor who's loser adult son would stay with her from time to time when he wasn't in the slammer or on the run. he had a beard, long black pony tail, black t shirt, tatoos, jeans and pumped up arms. he looked like the very sterotype of the "hard core harley rider" one day he came strutting by my house as one of my friends was sitting in the kitchen looking out the window. my friend said "hey! what kind of bike does that guy ride?" instantly my wife replied "a ten speed"

Send that one to Reader's Digest's "Life In These United States" and you could get some money, if they use the story. I wouldn't change a thing. Just send it in as posted above (w/o the first sentence, of course). I chuckled, but I immediately thought, "that sounds like it came straight from Reader's Digest!"
