They had a trailer full of their bikes at Biketoberfest. EXPENSIVE!!! Funny thing was, there wasn't a lot of people checking out their bikes. I think most bikers can tell a quality product from one with just a famous logo, but I'm sure there are still going to be those who just want to say they own an OCC.

Ran into a friend of a friend that has one of their softails. Problems: frame, shifter, ignition, wiring, mirrors. Not to bad for a bike that cost him 64K! The bike was definitely a looker but I don't know about spending 64K to have nuisance problems!

So what's over? They are open & still doing business in Newburgh as of today. Maybe the show was canceled. We've all heard that before too. It's entertainment! I also read that Vinny & Cody are getting their own show.

I found this on line so maybe this is what he’s talking about.

“Poughkeepsie — Three members of the Teutul family of Orange County Choppers fame defrauded the creditors of their family's other business, according to a complaint filed Friday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
The complaint accuses Paul Teutul Sr. and his sons, Paul Teutul Jr. and Daniel Teutul, of engineering the fraudulent bankruptcy of O.C. Iron Works Inc. in order to avoid paying the company's creditors.=
The bankruptcy fraud complaint is similar to a civil lawsuit seeking monetary damages. The complaint doesn't name a dollar amount, but court papers suggest the Teutuls and the iron works business could be on the hook for $1.3 million or more if they lose.
The complaint is not related to Orange County Choppers, the reality television phenomenon that launched the Teutuls to stardom. Instead, it focuses on the steel fabrication and erection business Paul Teutul Sr. built before he started building bikes.
According to court papers, Paul Teutul Sr. transferred that business to Paul Teutul Jr. The business was called O.C. Iron Works. Paul Sr. continued to serve as a consultant.
Paul Jr. then sold the assets of the business to Orange County Ironworks LLC, which is owned by his brother, Daniel Teutul.
According to the complaint filed by Bankruptcy Trustee Tom Genova, the Teutuls systematically moved the equipment, employees, accounts and other assets of the steel fabrication business O.C. Iron Works to a new company, Orange County Ironworks LLC, but the new company didn't pay fair compensation. The Teutuls then had O.C. Iron Works file for bankruptcy, leaving creditors out in the cold”

Sneaky little ba$tard$!

You don't have to like the show, but see it for what it's worth - it's entertainment! It also spotlighted our way of life in a mostly positive light. Same with American Thunder. The alternative is no shows based on the motorcycle culture. So the Teutuls made money. So what? That's the American way!

I always knew Cody would branch off and do his own thing. That young kid at 15 had way too much talent to be a regular worker bee at a bike shop. I'm glad him and Vinnie started their own thing.

I'm with you guys! Screw OCC!! Nothing I hate more than seeing Americans running a business being successful!!

I know all of you would have walked away from the fame and money out of respect for your motorcycle brothers and sisters. But not those greedy SOBs!!

Seriously,
Everyone bitches they weren't like Indian Larry Billy Lane, etc. But had they tried to be like them we'd just be calling them copy cats anyway right?

They way I see it they are biker light. Build some bikes, make some coin and not take yourself to serious. Whats the harm? No one says you have to by their stuff or watch their show.

And heck at least they didn't kill anyone...So why all the hate?

Their bike quality is awful. Billy Joel was not happy with the bike they made for him.
