Well, my new bike came in. This is a good thing.
What isn't is that I wasn't expecting it yet - I was expecting it to ship the 7th, be done by before thanksgiving . Suffice to say, my finances aren't quite where I expected them to be yet. I'm planning on paying off the last of the current bike in the next few days, but not quite yet! Also closing on my new house tomorrow! Yipe!

Tell the dealer to hold it a few days until you're ready. If you have a good relationship with him, he'll be cool with it. Just be ho0nest and explain up front what you're facing.
