Future Riding Buddy
My future riding buddy was born today (grandson). He was premature. I'm really worried, his lungs are under developed and he wasn't breathing for what seemed like minutes during and after birth. He's in NICU, where he will remain for a month according to doctors.

Hey Juno - congratulations and all the best for your grandson.
My future riding buddy is 15 (my son) and asking me all the time, why HD is not building something like a Vespa (Motorroller called over here), that the kids can ride at his age

Congratulations!!! I am a Medic with the 101st ABN and a Paramedic in the local city when not deployed. Most premature children have that condition as I am sure you were told by the doctor it is normal. I am sure the little tike will be just fine. Does he have a name???

Praying for a good outcome for your grandson! 30 years ago, my oldest daughter needed open heart surgery and I was afraid I'd loose her, but she pulled thru and and since given me a couple future riding buddies.

Congratulations! I'm sure he'll pull thru just fine! My 5 yr old son was born premature. He was in NICU for several weeks because his lungs were underdeveloped. His was immediately taken to another hospital right after birth because they had the best NICU. Momma couldn't go till 2 days later because of complications. He was only breathing like 10% on his own till she showed up and started talking to him. He recognized her right away, and immediately began improving. You'd never know he was a preemie today, he is taller than every kid in his class. Prayers to you and your family!!
