There are NO Incentives great enough to get me into any usury to get an over priced motorcycle of any brand with the economy looking like it does.
My old cash bought 1990 Harley runs just fine.
The ability to write of sales tax has always been there , just most people take the standard deduction, which does not take into account a large purchase
.
I didnt have to make any negotiation on my 08 1200C at the time (7-08) they had the price set at 10,185 including tax, title, reg, no freight, no setup so I figured it was a great deal. I went in today and they had the same exact 08' sporty color and all for 11,450. The Iron was at 8999. Maybe because my stealer is doing so good (they're expanding) their jackin the prices up?
Just sign it! If it is a good deal and your
happy, why wait for a HD incentive that is not gonna happen.
It is going to happen. Either that or the bikes will rust at the factory. I would wait. I haven't see too many motorcycle companies offer incetives in February. People don't buy many bikes this time of year. April is when they will start heating up.
Why buy now when you could save a couple of thousand dollars in a few months?
I live in northern Illinois went shopping for my 2009 Ultra. My local dealer offered me 2000 off MSRP I went to another dealer, who offered me 2009.00 discount When all was said and done I was given 2209.00 off( 200.00 off the 700.oo freight and set up) and a set of air shocks installed (rear) to lower the bike a 1/2- an inch. Oh they also threw in a gift card for three HD shirts.
