Dude, I feel your pain and your anger. I know of some so called 1%'ers here in Chicago that do the same thing. Its called "going shopping".
Three or four big guys in a cruiser van til they see what they want. Get out, pick it up, shove it in the van and in and out in 60 seconds or less. Forget about lowjack or other tracking systems as it will not work when in a metal container.
Makes me wonder why so many folks defend the rights of these type of people.
Again, sorry about your loss. Don't worry, your ride is in peices or on it's way to Europe by now.
Man that really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. I don't have a garage and I fear one morning I might walk out to find my bike gone. I know I would be sick, so I can imagine how you must feel. You have the right attitude though. It's a machine, and it can be replaced. That said, if I ever caught someone trying to steal my bike I would shoot them....repeatedly...until dead.
i am so sorry!! Thank goodness for insurance if that's any consolation.
A couple weeks ago i was coming off of a 3 night stretch of 12 hour night shifts and on that last night, i had to stay over 2 extra hours for an inservice class. When i left, i took the elevator to the hospital's parking deck, got off, went to the section i had parked my miata and it was not there!! I stood there frozen, then i panicked, then heart sick because i love that car. after a few minutes i realized.....i was on the wrong floor of the parking deck.

While true that GPS systems need line of sight to the satellites, as a radio transmitter, Lojack has no such limitation. It will work fine inside a van, shipping container, or building.
