I remember my first one very well. I should because I just bought it five months ago.

I'm really looking forward to adding my second one to the stable.

Remember it? Yeah, it's in the garage. Just rode it yesterday. Only had it 29 years now.

Hard to wear out an ironhead.

Yeh. Picked it up for nothing in 85, rode it for a summer, then sold it to a guy that kept pestering me to sell it to him.
Would be a lot of fun to have it now

My very first Harley was a 1956 Hydra Glide. The picture is similar to the one I had, except I had a windshield and buddy saddle on it. Yellow and black. I joined a club whose official bike color was chrome, so I chromed the fenders and tanks. It would be neat to still have it, but it was a bear to ride compared to my Ultra.

1981 Sportster/Roadster. Superglide tank, forward controls. Great for just me. Got rid of it to upgrade to the 1983 FL I still have. Had a 1963 pan/rigid that I built and rode around the same time. rode and owned it up until this past January 2008. Don't miss it. Screw that quirky and antiquated technology. Getting to old and fat to be jumping up and down sweating like a stuck pig. Covered in grease all the time.
