Its a ****ty situation my friend. I lost my job after being there for 30 years. My Chevrolet dealer owner decided to throw in the towel. Times are tough and the last thing you want to be now is the new guy. Last in, first out. Sucks but that is the reality. I been at my new job for 6 weeks now and I still cant sleep. I keep thinking about the lay off.
Think things over real hard before you make that decision. As the song says, "you dont know what you got til its gone"
True words.
Good luck and be smart.

I've been in a similar situation with my job, our dealer princible hired a new GM that never worked in the motorcycle business, but was an enthusiast, they guy was there for 2 weeks and started accusing everyone of stealing,he thought all our take-off parts were bikes we cut up, and damn near convinced the owner that we were theives, that is until all the managers sat down with him and the owner and asked him to produce so evidence, he showed the owner the take off and warranty parts, so the owner had to explain the business a bit clearer.
It got really ugly for a while and damn near everyone was going to quit, so the owner finally sent him packin', this took 2 1/2 years (of hell), hang in there.... jobs are tough to come by. As for being a HD tech.....? The market is flooded! and pay isn't all that good anymore.
TAKE A DEEP BREATH!! SLOW DOWN!! This is like most situations, give it TIME and it will pass. It sounds like you have a good job, so KEEP it. Don't let some BS take control.
I'm really surprised there is even a motor coach company still in business.
We have several companies including low cost intercity carrier network and in canada. \ I'm going to stick it out and see what happens. Most of this BS is happening because our regular operations manager is out for medical reasons and I feel once he returns the BS will stop and everything will go back to the way it was...

Document, document, document. Chances are your G/M isn't isn't or he would have some sort of counseling with you concerning your job performance, or has he? Also document the problems and your solutions to those problems. I would like to show you the scars on my tongue from biting it so much. Maybe you can start up your own business involving IT knowledge and your Business Admin. degree.
All I can say is I agree with everyone else, just do your job to the best of your ability and ride it out. Good jobs are hard to find right now and these things have a way of ironing themself out but I don't it still sucks. Good luck to you
Oh he has talked to me several times. Like I said above, he has sat me down more in the past 3 months then in the past 6 years I have worked there. I'm going to ride it out and see what happens.
