Beautiful! You did a great job! I hope to someday do a build like that... Though by the time I get to it, the one I have now will be a classic.

I've loved the Night Train since it came out, but I've always loved Sportsters, too. I saw a 69 Sporty that a guy rebuilt, but he blacked out only the engine. I liked the look and took it further.

I have a spare stock seat F/S if you need one
All parts were media blasted and cleaned before assebly. Then I taped it off and sprayed the wrinkle paint. Tim who I mentioned earlier helped me with it. He has done this type of coating before, and it seems to be very durable.

Now first off I know I live in south Alabama, and there just ain't that many Mechanics around. However, I am curious about how difficult it was to find someone with the cam bushing reamers? 13 years ago when I did mine, the local harley shop or the local independents, neither had or could find their reamers.

Nice job. My first Harley was a 1974 Sportster, but the XLCH (kick only). I got that bike in 1980, lowered it into the basement with a 4x4, tore it down to nothing over the winter and rebuilt it in my living room. I would love to have that bike back today.
