Default Forward control extensions

I need to stretch out a little & am planning to get some Arlen Ness forward control extensions after xmas. Are they pretty simple to install? Anybody have any other reccommended companies besides Ness for control extensions.

I've fitted two sets of the Ness extensions...both to Softails, they're pretty staightforward(no pun intended) everythings included, only takes about an hour to fit... unless you have problems bleeding the rear calliper!

The first thing I removed from my softail was the Ness extensions. Been sitting in my tool box for 3 years now. I'm only 5'9 and they weren't cutting it. If interested in a used chrome set, PM me.

I know a few guys who've used the Ness kit...they tell me it's solid, complete with everything you need, and a lot less $$ than the H-D set...I'm considering extensions and that's the way I'll go...

Another vote for the Ness kit. Easy install, best comfort mod I have made.

May want to try finding a machinest, ask around your local bike shop or hd dealer, talk with somone that does some kind of racing(they will know a good machinest/fab person. Maybe thay can make a small bracket to ext. The controls you have. Have them plated chrome or power coat any color u want...may save a few bucks and add a small custom touch to your bike...just a thought, hope it helps

As always, thanks you guys. This forum is great as you can always get info, an opinion, or an idea that I haven't thought of.
Times might be dicey right now, but is there anyone who can sit on their bike. hit the starter, & not feel pretty good at the moment?

+1, plus it comes with everything you need. Took me a couple of hours but I wasn't in a hurry and bleeding the rear brakes was giving me a problem for some reason.

Got them on my 2000 FXST, I'm 6'3" and it made it way more comfortable. The hardest part was bleeding the caliper for me also.

Put chromed 3" Kuryakyns on mine. Easy to do and on a Dyna did not have to bleed the master cylinder. Sure made it more comfortable for my long legs.
