I have a 2004 ultra firefighter special.is there any way to get those firemen decals off?

Don't they have a factory clear coat over them? Most tank decals do and removal is not possible and save the paint.

yes i bet you are right.Some day i will get them off, the the fairing repainted.The ones on the hardbags dont bother me.

And you're doing this why??? Most firefighters are proud to display their status. All the firefighters I know, bought the F/F edition for the specific reason to display their profession. The bike is unique in it's color and badging and thats what makes it stand out.

It also helps when it comes to the value of the bike. To give an example, I collect the 1/18th scale bikes and that bike cost me 4 times what others have cost. Why? Because it's the firefighter model and rare.

Maybe he isn't a firefighter and he don't want them on his bike. You set up your bike the way you like it.

save the tank and get a another tank check out robs used harley parts in VA if you keep checking back he will even have one in the color you want better yet just get the whole new set of tins it will be some $$$ but you will have the fire fighter set also witch might be worth money down the road
