Was a little wet this morning but by around noon it had finally dried up and the sun was out . Temps were in the 70's so thought I'd take a little ride, this kind of weather doesnt come along very often in December.
Wind was whipping pretty good, gusts in the 40 mph range. Hell I guess if we waited on perfect weather we'd never get to ride huh? Guess I got in about 100 miles today, sure felt good to blow the cobwebs out.
Looks like a cold front is bringing lower temps and rain for the next few days, so its probably a good thing I got to slip a ride in today.
uh, repost but what the heck, 41, 20 mph winds and raining. Yup, took a ride into town, Home Depot for a new kitchen faucet and back. First time in over two weeks! Got to try out the new Hi Visibility HD raingear I got for christmas!
Glad to see you guys could get out and get some saddle time in! Even once a month is better than nothing in the winter like this I know - used to live in Chicago so I remember what winter is - depressing and miserable.
It sprinkled a little this morning, but not enough to get the roads soaked. Pulled the cover off and took a ride for about an hour and rode on in to work. The next few days will be miserable because of all the rain coming in. I really hate riding in my cage.
This last week in Bowling Green Kentucky the temps were in the 20's and 30's but last night it was very windy and rained inches worth. Today, the day after Christmas it was overcast most of the day but the temperature got up to 62 degrees and out came the Sporty. Had enough time to fill the tank and get 50 miles in before all hell broke loose again with 40mph winds and lots of rain. It was fun while it lasted.
