Harleys in Cuba

There was an article on the news tonight about Harleys in Cuba. They showed several bikes all over 50 years old, since no bikes or parts have been imported since the Kennedy administration.

I know that you can fly from Mexico to Cuba, I know that there are Harleys in Mexico. Why can't they import them from Mexico?

Said there were about 50 HD'S left in Cuba. Those boys want to ride for real.

I saw a show on tonight about the same thing said they fab parts to fit as well as take off car parts to put on them. Like was said before them boys want to ride!! Talk about Jerry-Rig.I geuss you have to deal with what you got!!

I'm not sure there are very many cubans that could afford to import a new or newer Harley via Mexico. I could be wrong but I think they are making the most out of what they have. And I bet that what they have is pretty expensive by there standards.
