Partying with some friends and they kept pushing me to do shots. Told them hard liquor didn’t agree with me but they kept up with the “ c’mon man, just do some shots with us”. Really happy drunk when I drink beer but really ornery on booze.
The next time I saw one of the guys he had a bandage on the side of his head, ask him what happened, he said “ ya f’ning spook, you kicked the door shut on my head!” I was in the bathroom puking and he stuck his head in to see if I was okay, I didn’t want any help evidently. They never pushed me to do shots again and “Spook” kind of stuck.
Had to add something to Spook because it was already taken. 13 has always been my lucky number. Have one son and a grandson born on my birthday, June 13, another boy born on December 13. The *** backward son was born on July 31😀. Two other grandkids born on the 13th and my last name starts with M, thirteenth letter in the alphabet.
Cool thread.
Rounders can mean many things. Your comment about a deep cut I thought might be a clue referencing the groove in a phonograph record a needle would ride in.

Rounders is probably referring to being circumcised.
