Wow again. Nice but no thanks.

Something about it just doesnt do it for me.
Not even with a limited production.

No title, just a bill of sale. I like the paint tho. You can go down the road on a black bike, turn around and come back on an orange bike.

I'd like to follow this and see how far it goes. The historic value should drive the price up way beyond the $14,600 it is at right now. Hah, they still haven't hit the reserve yet.

from his add I would say alot higher than the 14600.00

from the ebay add

Harley made enough road-going versions of the VR1000 to homologate the bike for racing. Dealers were offered one, at a price of $50,000. It's not uncommon to see these bikes sell for $80,000 today.
Up for sale is a 1994 Harley Davidson VR1000. This is one of the original 50 Bikes built to homologate the bikes for AMA Superbike race series. Serial VR028K4. Sold with bill of sale only, offroad for race only

Is that some version of the V-Rod engine? Kinda hard to see what it is with that fairing but it must be nice.

that was the precursor, if you will, to the V-Rod

they never produced them for the street (me thinks not 100% sure) just for racing
