Just picked up a set of Fox Creek PCI gloves.. look and feel pretty good. They are a Combination of Deer skin and Elk hide with some Thinsulate and "Outlast" insulation. I can't honestly say they're any warmer than any other top end winter riding gloves but they're much thinner and more comfortable to wear. Their blurb is that since Deer and Elk hides are much more abrasion resistant than cowhide they don't need to be so thick. I don't plan on putting that theory to the test, however. The coldest I've worn them is 41* with no windshield or fairing and my hands stayed warm except the tips of my fingers which is what always gets cold. I also have some unlined Deer skin summer gloves from them and a Vented Racing jacket which is about 10 lbs of leather and a pleasure to wear. Their stuff is unfailingly high quality, Made in USA and good fitting / comfortable and warm. Spendy compared to some import gear out there but I don't mind paying more to buy American and the quality justifies the price.
Worth a look if you're in the market. I did get double charged for the gloves and I'm having to deal with my bank to get the charge taken off. I don't think it's them so much as their bank and mine screwing up. Still, sh*t happens and in the past they've been straight up so I wouldn't hesitate to deal with them again.
