I heard roland sands has been designin w/ victory. Looks like somethin he would do. It's american I like it. Some one needs to keep harley on their toes. That Vision though good hell FUGLY.
I agree....that thing has RSD (Roland Sands Design) written all over it.
I think that it's pretty inovative. H@ll, even the exhaust looks like they found a use for old drain pipe and they even thought to wrap it to cover the leaks. No rear suspension, who would have thought of that. Shaved teeter- totter seat that lites up and no place to mount the licence plate.
I think it looks sharp...not something you would wanna ride for long, but I think a lot of guys build their dynas with a similar mindset. It has a mean look, but the power comes through at the same time. A Dyna wannabee!
I think Victory is really passing up a great opportunity. With the Polaris reputation and now a decent reputation in the motorcycle market they are in a great position to make a Dirt Bike or multi purpose bike. I would think an American made product would do well in that market. They seem to be moving more into the radical custom direction and that appears to be a fading trend. Over 75% of the "Custom Bike" shops have folded up or are back to being small owner operated shops.
I seems like more people are buying bikes to ride not to look cool on. When the economy trends down expensive toys are the first to go.
