Default E-Z Pass

Has anybody mounted the E-Z Pass tag on their bike yet? No big deal if you have a windscreen..........if not, then what?

If you have bags, you can mount it inside the cover of one of them. If not, just carry it in your shirt pocket; it will read. Or, if you're looking for a reason to put more chrome on your ride, you can buy one of these: http://www.qualityclamp.com/cgi-bin/...003&type=store

No --I have one of the ones made for motorcycles. I put it in a small cage bag they give out at credit unions and it is in my windshield bag. Pull it out when going through a toll booth and put it back once through.

I put a bag on the risers for small stuff and have the pass velcroed to the inside front of it like this.

And here's the pass inside.

Works fine this way.

GymRat,
I don't know if it will work in MD. but in NY the EZ-Pass has a motorcycle version (see the big "M" on nime) that is only a $10 deposit. But you get charged a lower toll rate for it then using the car/truck one.

I attached mine to my windshield, but they said it'd work inside the saddlebags or windshield bag as long as there isn't a lot of metal near it. Mine worked in the windshield bag just fine before I put it on the shield.

I still question my decision to put it there since it's fugly, but I was worried it'd get stolen or lost if I accidently pulled it out w/ other stuff. It's just a sticker. Dallas recently converted from the plastic tags in favor of the stickers.

I had no luck putting it my bags or in my jacket. I just bought one of these:

http://www.meshproducts.net/

I won't have a chance to use it until the weather breaks and I start to ride to work again. I have it wrapped around my headlight. Looks pretty low key up there.

In Houston you get the older style for the bike instead of the sticker type used for cars now. I have mine in my tour pack and it registers going through no matter how fast I go.
