Just thought I'd run this by you. A friend and I went on a ride this weekend, no problem till my bike wouldn't start about 60 miles from home, gave it a jump start and away we go home. Well the battery went completely dead and the bike stalled while riding about ten miles from town. I called triple A for assistance, they asked if I had RV roadside assistance, I didn't, but I do have roadside, but they wouldn't tow my bike. So my friend road to town to get a new battery. Put it in the bike, not enough power to start it. Well I figured triple A would at least jump start my bike, nope, even just to jump start it I needed to have RV roadside assistants. I had 2 cars a Harley and my home insurance with these idiots, I had. I canceled it and went to All State, its less for all my coverage and they said since my bike is with them it is covered on roadside assistance.
i have it. never used it for the bike. last time i called i had hit a deer. waited 1.5 hrs. for the truck. another hour later i called and was told the truck cancelled and they were still trying to find another. i drove the car home bad radiator and all. the truck picked it up 2 days later. grrrr. but i still have it. LOL

I know it sucks that they couldn't help you out. But it is outlined pretty clearly in the services chart that you need the upgrade to cover motorcycles. If they help out one person, they will have to help everyone...JMO
I've got RV Plus. I think the regular towing distance is only 3 miles - basically, enough to get you off the highway. RV Plus gets you 100 miles. I'm pretty sure it covers bike towing as well. Years ago, my folks had an RV. When it was new, we were on the turnpike in Ohio and ran out of gas. The gauge was faulty - registering 1/4 tank when it ran dry. Mom called AAA. They'd bring gas - but only 2 gallons. Mom said "WTH, we're in an RV. That won't get us to the next exit." They brought 7 gallons.
In my opinion, and after having this service for many years with very good results, I would highly reccommend them.
Covers all your vehicles with unlimited mileage, etc. http://www.goodsamers.com/benefits.cfm
Whether HOG, AAA, AMA motow, whatever... you have to read the fine print, to know what the coverage IS, and how far they'll tow you.
getting a tow to the nearest dealer ain't gonna do squat, when it's Saturday night on a three day week end.
There's a LOT of good deals out there, including my "free towing" from Progressive, but you have to read it through, and don't expect your insurance sales man to know all the details from the get go... ask questions, BEFORE you need the tow
The timing belt on the wife's escort broke on me. I called AAA for a wrecker and after waiting on the phone with them for about 45 minutes they said the computer system was down and could I call back later. Cancelled that real quick.
