Check out www.mmleatheronline.com . They are located in western PA and I have not been able to find better prices than theirs. I just picked up their Daytona Chubby bags for my Fatboy. They were $189. Don't get me wrong, they aren't Boss Bags, but they are a great buy for the money.

Don't go cheap on bags. When you do, that they look cheap. Just like fake leather. No matter how hard you try its still fake leather. I went to Just Leathers in San Jose. the bags I got will probably last my whole life got the Easy Brackets. They installed them too.

Thanks for the input everyone - I decided against it - - fyi, am kind of back and forth on what I want to do - wife and I have a trip planned in june that will be about 1000 miles each way, so am thinking ahead to storage for that trip (she has heritage w/ bags) - the reason i am undecided yet on spending for bags that I would be happy with long term is that I am questioning if I want to stay with this bike long term, after purchasing it last june, I have developed preferences - such as bags and forward controls - am thinking I will be happier on a touring frame - so toying with either putting bags and forward controls on the dyna OR selling the dyna and using the cash I would spend on bags and forward controls as a down on getting a road king or street glide - oh well, got some more thinkin' ta do - thanks again for your thoughts and the links, will check them out.

Oh, and if you know anyone that wants to buy a superglide in central california - send em my way

Check carolina leather works. They make good bags with both thow over and heavier bolt on types. I relocated my turn signals an in stilled a set for 13x16x6.5 baggs and they work well. Good bag and material . You can see some in the jp catologs as carrol leather. There listed as front vertical zippers and show 1 concho .They have clips leather belt for looks and to zippers under the flap with inside pouch. Buy direct much cheaper. There is are picture's at the other hd site under fxr pictures around #160 something . I live close so just road up to buy but retail was much less than what you are talk'n.

I don't know if they will fit but I have the hard leather bags from my 2007 Road King Custom and wil let them go for a decent offer. They are generally in good shape as I put hard bags on within the 1st year. Drop me a note if you like.
