Default Locking seat bolts???

Does anyone know of where to find a locking seat bolt? I would hate to have a new seat attached only with a thumb screw. Thanks. This forum gives great advice.

How ironic... I just spent $15 for the thumb screw, which replaced the standard phillips screw.

Can't help you with the locking seat screw, however my Corbin seat locks on. Short of buying a Corbin, I don't know what to tell you.

Never heard of one.Doubt that enough seats are stolen to make manufacturing a lock would be worth it.

Tamper proof Torx screw?
The theif would have to carry tamper proof Tork sockets.

Are Tamper proof heads for the 1/4-20 thread most seats use .. Not totally fool proof but would deter a few ...

I saw an ad the other day for some. It may have been in the new American Iron mag. Dont remember exactly where. Do a search. You should be able to find them.

I agree.
With a little time the theif is going take what he wants.

McMaster-Carr may have them.Button head would be be my first choice because they are difficult to remove with pliers.
