Full face....it protects your "full-face", not only in a crash, but from the elements, and flying stuff, like bees, bugs and rocks!
I don't want to argue on this one because it's all about choice, but isn't that one of the points of riding is to be out in the elements. Sure all that flying stuff hurts a little, but you heel and if not thats the way it is.
I personally ride with the smallest legal helmet I can find.
You get no argument from me. We're all big boys here and can do as we wish. When people ask, as in this case, I recommend full-face helmets. I wear one, and wouldn't ride without one. I was in a crash about 10 years ago that would have ended my life had I not been wearing that full face helmet. Also, as a cop, I have investigated a number of motorcycle collisions. The riders with full face helmets almost always suffer less severe injuries.
