any brand name, snap-on is what I use, but they are a little pricey. I personally stay away from the cheap china stuff but thats just me. they will last a lifetime so like anything else you get what you pay for. You will need a 3/8 inch pound and a 1/2 inch foot pound.
Go to Sears and get a Craftsman inch pound and foot pound. They work great for the weekend mechanic. I can't see spending the money on the high end stuff like Snap-On and Matco for something that you use a dozen times a year.
Harbor Freight. $40 for both. Not like you're working on the Space Shuttle.
+1
I have an inch and a foot lb. torque wrench from Harbor freight. The first thing I did was check them against my neighbor's Craftsman set. They checked the same, so they are good enough for me.

Haha! I just ordered a 3/8" drive inch-lb. wrench yesterday online at Sears...
They are giving a 10% discount for online orders right now. I just indicated I would pick it up locally at the store, since it showed being in stock there. Almost ready to tackle my handlebar conversions now_
Got a digital Snap-On that does in/lb and ft/lb in one unit and it is the cats azz! Kind of pricey thou. Sears would not warranty an almost new unit I got from them, so no Crapsman junk for me.
