Chicago area riders

Finally gonna be a few days over freezing. When do yu think the snow will be gone? Do you ride during the melt? Wait for all that salt dust to get fully washed away?

I'll take our bikes for a ride over the weekend. Country roads (less salt). Probably put about 30 miles on each bike. The last time I had them out was just after christmas.

I got out on Jan 1, 2 and 3, then the snow piled up in front of the garage door so I need a bit more of a melt before I can get out. I picked up some new chaps at the bike show last weekend so I am ready as soon as we get a decent rain to melt this crap and clear the salt from the streets.

Mine goes nowhere until a good rain flushes all the gunk off the roads.

Mine will stay safe and sound in the warehouse next to my office till after the snow melts and a good rain washes all the salt and stuff away. then I'll go out and play dodge-em with the pot holes.
