Exclamation *Please Read* Need Your Opinion

Hey guys, I have a huuuuge favor to ask anyone who's willing Here's whats up:

Ok, so I go University of Maryland and have a senior engineering design project, and we decided to do a project on safe riding in rain or other bad weather. Basically we are looking into designing a simple and compact system that could mount onto a helmet to keep the visor clear and clean in all conditions.

What I need from you guys is to fill out a survey for me (its ONLY 7 questions!) We need this so then we can figure some statistics on the market of riders out there...

If you could please please please take literally 2 minutes and help me out that would be amazing

I attached a ZIP file that you can download. I also tried to paste it in here.

If its easier for you, you could always email me at either mccrazzyy@gmail.com OR dkreh@umd.edu! Thank you so so much for your help!

*** UPDATE I just created a survey thru "Survey Monkey" So if anyone would rather just click the answers and not have to repost here, that will work just as well. Here is the link:

I think you are pi--ing in the wind. THERE IS NO MARKET FOR SUCH A PRODUCT! To begin with I know no one who likes riding in the rain. I think most people only do it when they have to, ie get caught in it. Even then most of the time I will ck the radar and if there is no let up for awhile I will choose to wait it out. Spend your time on something useful like designing a motorcycle tire that gets more mileage. Now there's a product you could sell.

BIK88CHK and PastorTom, why do you have to respond that way? simply put, i am a student looking for some feed back and opinions. im not some guy trying to spread virus' or "link into your system" I would really appreciate anyone that could give me some positive feed back for my project.

and thank to to Piasspj, that kinda response is all i need, just copy and paste it and make 'X's

I don't wear a full face helmet and most riders I know don't either. A helmet with no visor is my typical wear. Do you need any more answers from me?

Deepsouth251, that is a good point. and as i ride myself i know that a lot of the time when going faster it just blows off. and yea most the time i check the radar and when its going to rain i dont go out. BUT there are those people who get stuck in the rain OR their bike is their only mode of transportation....

we are really looking into something more that would be detachable and removable for easy storage so you could keep it stored in ur bike when not in use. but when stuck have the ability to use it.

but never the less, thats why i am asking you guys. cause their might just not be the market for this, and that is part of the project....we need YOUR opinion.

Thanks again for your help!!!
