Reminds me of an old toyota tacoma a guy had completely rhino lined for off road use. From what you said you are buying tins with the old paint job so def a good idea on quick fix and a durable extra set of tins.
I personally don't like it, but it's not my bike, right?
I've had 2 pickups Rhino'd, so let me just offer one tip: Keep it "lubed" with the stuff they give you because it does dry out and fade. I don't care in the bed of my truck; I just want the protection, but since it's your paint job, don't let the sun dry and fade it!
Too bad about your paint job. Not a big fan of the Rhino thing, but I certainly understand your situation. Hunt those little bastar@#$s down, and teach em a lesson. Each of them has something they love too, even if it's hangin' between their legs. Pain can be the great equalizer.... J/K...NOT!
I can't get over how good that looks in the pics. I would not add to it with stripes or badges. Maybe some black lower forks. If it looks that fine up close and in person, that sucker is baadazz.
I got tired of getting marks on my '32 thats in my profile. So I just thinned down some Rustoleum flat black and shot it. Now when I gets looking bad I just touch it up with a trim gun and it looks like new. Sorry you had to go through that though. I bet the neighbors heard you a mile away when you saw it.
I used Herculiner (from Walmart) to do an old 79 Shovel a few years ago. Sold it (dumba**) and have since got a 2007 Dyna Wideglide. I am in the process of using the Herculiner again on this bike. Once I did the 79 Shovel, it turned more heads that you could imagine. I just put a 2in lowering kit on my Wideglide, 18in apes and with this Herculine paint job, I am sure to turn heads once again. A gallon of this stuff only costs about $50. DIY and save some $$$$..
One of our techs Rhinoed his Buell when he lived in AZ, it held up great and three years later looked as good as new, they have more colors than black BTW, his is a road stripe yellow.
Bike vandals, thievs and child molesters, are all the same as far as I am concerened.
I'll bet that would look great in red
