As to the guy with the "criminal" comment, grow up. If you are without sin and have never committed a crime, and there are millions of pages of them all over the place, then go ahead and cast that first stone.
Sin has nothing to do with it, these folks are not steeling pizza from a baby man. Fact is many of them have a good deal of felony activity going on and this is well represented in case law but you know this or should.
To the OP, wear the patch if this is your desire as I doubt anyone will bother you about it. However, the attitude that may come with that patch is what may get you into trouble.
You're a 3 piece patch wearing club member and you're concerned about an internet "hang around" designation???
Advise your club officers. Maybe they can apply some pressure to the moderators on your behalf to up your designation to "Extreme Member". Apparently the moderators don't know who they are dealing with, disrespecting you like that.

Some of you guys don't quite get it and this i understand because you ain't been there and never will. Now this is of course mostly a joke but seriously, if i feel vaguely disrespected being labeled a "hangaround" i'm probably not the only one because we all pretty much think the same way. Considering that, I feel that due to my wondrous and varied experiences in the motorcycling culture spanning several decades my status should be immiediately upgraded from "hangaround" to "senior experienced all-knowing leader of the unwise"

I dunno if they'll change your status, but you definitely deserve recognition for using the word "wondrous" in a post.

Personally, I don't give a crap what someone else may think. If you want to wear the dang patch, wear it. If someone along the way has issue with it, so be it.
