Mine is zip tied under the frame in the front... I'll probably change it out to something a little more permanent soon, but it's been on there for about 2,000 miles.

Actually, the person who gave the bell to you should put it on the bike...never buy your own! Bad mojo there...and for those of you who don't like them, or don't believe in them, or just generally think they're "gay" don't put one on your bike! Having one or not makes you no more nor less a "biker."

They claim for maximum protection, the bell shall be installed at the lowest point on your bike. Which is usually some where on the frame, to ward off THE EVIL SPIRITS. The lower to the ground the BETTER.

have had a bell on my bikes for years...someone gives you one in the spirit it is intended for is a good thing as far as I'm concerned...usually put mine in the same area as big pig....I'm not a superstitious person but I'm glad it's there anyways.

My wife gave me one for Christmas. Now I am not a supersticious but I know if i did not put in on that somehow there will be great pain. It will come from my wife for not putting it on.

They make a stainless steel bracket for hanging the bells. I bought two at the last rally I went to and hung my bells from highway bar bracket. The best place I ever seen them hung was at a rally on a blond as nipple rings.
