Fork tubes
Looking at buying an older Ultra and the only issue the bike has is some road rash on the fork tubes form gravel and what not hitting them. Is there a way to either clean them up or what would be the best way to make them look nice again. The bike is pretty much mint except for this one issue

Really it depends how bad they are. You could maybe polish the scratches out so they are not as noticable. If they are bad enough, maybe sand them and get them powder coated or get them chromed.

Fork Tubes?
fork tubes are the things that bolt into the triple trees. Fork Sliders some times known as Lowers is the thing that the axle and brake bolt to and go up and down.
You can not repair fork tubes except to re-finish them by striping the chrome, re-polishing, and re-plating them.
You can repair sliders in any of the above methods.
