Default For All Riders Here

In my efforts to plan a summer 2009 meet and greet, I've run into a small problem, namely, that many members here do not put a location into their profile. All that is needed is a state, need not be more specific than that. If the state name was entered in location, then searches could be done by state, for example, to find other riders in Idaho (in may case).

So I make this simple request -- please add your state into your profile. Thanks.

I think your state of residence, year/model of primary bike should be mandatory and displayed with other stuff (join date, posts etc) when you post to the forum.

Well, gee, then you will find a lot only have a Yammer or Hondasaki - not a Hog. I agree with the location, though.

I agree, makes it nice to see if you are talking to a neighbor in your area. You never know how friendships are formed. Hey when you are in MN drop by or can I drop by when I am in your neck of the woods?

Hey Paul, you gonna be any where near North Carolina next week? ...I didn't think so...lol...Any way we are all still meeting for our Wednesday breakfast rides here in cold Michigan. Sure miss ya....I'm going to NC to see my mom and brother next week. I might make it to Fla. to see my dad in law too. One day we'll get out to see ya ....

I always love it when someone post a comment about the weather or something relevant to their location, but you have no clue where they are because they are to lazy to put their location in their Profile. Kinda pointless huh?
