Default I'm so confused

hay guys, lots of posts concerning SERTS,downloads and things like that i am thinking about new pipes for 03 lowrider (CARB) would i need to do anything special besides get the pipes and put them on? if so what and why? My brain hurts

Very simple. A four stroke engine works on intake of air and fuel, compression of gasses in the cylinder, spark, or burn of the gasses, and exhaust.

If you want to get your engine to perform better you have to allow more air (breather upgrade) more fuel, (re jetting of carbs or a re map of the EFI) better spark, and better exhaust (pipes)

Doing just one upgrade is a waste of money.

Bama, that said, we haven't even talked about cam's, duration, high compression pistons, heads, stroking, gear ratio's, over size valves, etc, etc.

Don't worry, go to a dealer you trust, and start with a stage one. If he won't explain in detail what it is, and what it does, go to another dealer.
