Flame posts? I haven't seen any here as yet but I could start right now! What an attitude! You privately emailed me and I answered your long list of questions but I'm sorry that I didn't read this post before I did... Why bother? You appear to be a real ********.

You did
What an attitude!
Are you kidding? How is: "I am a newbie and I need an education." AND "Seriously, I want good and honest feedback" an attitude?

I don't see a problem with this post. It appears, I am not saying its true, that if someone says something that you don't understand or totally agree with, then you attack them?

In my privately e-mailed questions to you, I asked, "If I am totally mechanically uninclined should I just get a Japanese bike?" and here is your answer......
A: Dumb assed question! Why would you be better off with a Jap bike? Try a
wheelborrow!
Seriously, I want good and honest feedback not a bunch of flame posts.

You got what you came here for now get your Jap bike - suits you better. A queen with a chip on your shoulder, yes the scooter would probably be best for you.
You guys are probably right about the moped. Honestly, I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. Obviously, I did and for that I apologize-seriously. If I do get a Harley I hope to come back here and start fresh. Thanks for the info and take care.
Alright, you are showing your class now. I apologize too, I got much too carried away with being 'correct' and lost the 'helpful' attitude altogether - Sorry.
You will enjoy a Harley Davidson and I hope it works out for you to obtain the one you desire. If you have questions, please go ahead with them.
Back to the original question at hand: it's never been anything other than Harley for me. The fascination with Harleys started when I was 12 and a biker club would come every year to my next door neighbor's house (she was like 85 or 90 at the time) and would spend the weekend with her and completely clean her house while spending time with her and taking her for rides on her bike. They'd see me on the porch and invite me over to sit on their bikes and would just shoot the breeze with me. They'd been doing that trip to the old lady's house for like 10 years and for the two years I lived next to her before she died I'd wait until they came so I could be part of the gang after that. They all had Harleys and that's all I ever wanted.
