Shouldn't it be freedom of choice just like helmets? ATGATT
Not when it comes to eye protection. It takes a milisection for something to blow into your eye, you get blinded lose control of your bike. I would hate for that to happen in front of me.

So, you couldn't lose control if a rock flies up and hits you in the nose while you're not wearing a FF helmet? ATGATT

I would echo h20dog and say that when something goes in your eye and you cannot see, the likelihood of you losing control and potentially hurting someone else is higher then if you don't wear a helmet and pop your squash when you hit the ground.
JMO, but you are right if you got hit in the nose with a BFR that could hurt and result in loss of control, man I hope they don't go with a FF helmet law to protect against that
If we don't regulate ourselves someone else will (Darwin aside).
Got Kin folks in Florida, used to spend my summers down there and I quit going down there cause the police don't have anything to do but pull grown ups over and want to save them.
Florida has some pretty messed up laws.
Got a Buddy that went to Daytona this past year, after one trip he said he will never go back.
Got a buddy I ride with all the time that used to live in Florida, he left because of the police were so bad.
Florida had law that the manattee's were on the endangered species list a few years back.
fisherman got together and made Florida parks and wildlife do a study on the manattee's and it wound up there are more manattes in existance than there has ever been since the begannin of time. So the question was ask, they how did they git on the engangered species list to start with.
Just another reason for the police in florida to jack with you.
I would rather go to the south texas or the desert.
