+1.....Grew up in Indio (whoa that's HOT), mom currenlty lives in Yucca Valley and now I live in the I.E. The bike will have no problem running in desert heat, particularly on the Hwy with contant air gettin' to the motor.

No on a burger of that size. I've been there several times but I've never seen that one on the menu. Like their shakes and fries though. You're right, it is a cool dealer, a must see for anybody that can get to it.

I have heard this old wives tale before. Let me put it in perspective. The air cooled V Twin runs at about 220 or so. Lets say in the hottest location it hits 115 air temp. The motor will have air moving over it that is over a hundred degrees cooler than it is running. I did the riding with an armored jacket on. I,m fat and old. It was not a problem. We came across my on bikes.
