Yep, I get asked all sorts of questions and get a lot of positive feedback. My Night Train I had before this bike never got the attention of my Rocker C.
A few people talk to me about it but only pics are the ones that came in the mail a couple of weeks later. Don't mind if someone wants to sit on my bike just ASK first.
We were at the Kitty Hawk HD dealer in North Carolina when some guy came over looking at our bikes then when he saw the beer can/oil filter on mine he got a big grin on his face and took out a camera and snapped a shot.
I didn't know if he was laughing at my hack job or if he liked it. I didn't take any chances and wacked him with a baseball bat then while he was face down in the parking lot I lit the building on fire and hauled ***.
That'll teach the son of a beach to take pictures of my bike and grin while doing it.
Discalimer: No one was actually hurt in this incident and no names were mentioned because no one was innocent. The story was based on a true story except for the violent parts.
Last fall I cruised up to Harrison Hot Springs. There was some kind of charity ride happening and I managed to slip my Deluxe in between a line of "other" bikes out front of the fish n chip joint. I notice this couple and their kid strolling up the street and the man stops at by bike. He points to his wife and the next thing he's standing next to it with his kid and his wife takes a picture. He even gently reaches up and touches the grip. Then he trades places with his wife and gets a shot with her.
They were an Asian family and as I watched them walk across the street to get back on the tourist bus I couldn't help but think how cool it is that they have a memory to take home with my bike. I had a great grin on my face as I watched. They certainly picked the coolest bike on the street. The dude has taste and as he walked away, he looked back at it three times.
People don't ususally get too excited about an Ultra Classic
Yes it a cross we have to bear! We had a group of Japanese tourists in Yellowstone come up to us with cameras in hand, pointing towards our bike. We watched as each in the group had their picture taken. We never understood a word they said but at least they were smiling in English.

Did the same thing yesterday too. It was such a nice day here in Parker/Denver 8 of us went riding up Deer Creek Canyon from Wadsworth to Pine Junction then left to Pine City to the BuckSnort for a beer. Stayed there a while then went to visit some friends just off of 285 and came back in time for Rocky Mountain HD's 30th anniversary. While there having a beer and a brat the HOG chapter had gone for a spring ride and had a gentleman from Germany there, we were getting ready to leave on the scoots and he took our picture of the bikes and us sitting on them and gave us a thumbs up. That I thought was pretty nice. It was a marvelous day for riding Sunday and then I woke up to snow on Monday. Gotta love Colorado.
