...take a picture of your bike?

It was 80 degrees here in Denver yesterday, so my wife and I rode up to Boulder, past Eldora ski rersort, and did a nice 100mile loop through the mountains.

Anyway, we stopped in Boulder for lunch, and to walk around their nice downtown area. I come back to my bike to find two guys looking at my bike. So I walk up, get my gear on and am getting ready to ride when one of the guys comments on my pipes, and blacked out controls. Says he likes them alot and wanted to know about it, etc.

So while I'm talking with him his wife walks up and he starts telling her all about the bike and the pipes he wants, etc. So I try to do a guy a favor and start the bike up to let him (her) hear the pipes. Figured if I could help a guy convince his wife, then good for him.

Anyway, so the guy takes a picture of my bike to remember what he wanted from it! LOL

I wanted to tell him my bike was plain vanilla compared to the bikes on the forum, but never got around to it.

So I thought the guy was going to walk away, but instead he gets on his Honda shadow that was parked next to my bike! His buddy had a Gold Wing parked there as well. LOL

Awesome day.

Funny you should ask.

Last fall went for a ride with a buddy and we stopped at a Dunkin for a break.

When we walked out to the bikes a guy and young girl were standing by the bikes and the girl was taking pics of my bike.

The guy said "Nice bikes" and went on to say that he hoped I didn't mind if his daughter took some pics of my bike. She was taking a photography course at school and thought the bike would make some good black & white shots with the way the light was shining.

Of course I said fine.

After they left I told my buddy that his bike (Road King) looked nice too, even though she didn't want to take pics of it!!

Not a lot of smiles from him!!!

Seems to be a very common occurence at major rallies, and some wanna bees like the looks of personalized rides. I just have concerns if shot from the back with a license plate involved.

Nah, some deli, just grabbed a sandwich. Too busy and too many people. Just wanted to a bit and get back on the road. But I'll have to check that place out...

read about scams on ebay, cycletrader, etc. when owners see their bike (or car/truck) FOR SALE...and they never put it up for sale!

Pretty sure that was not the case with you.
