Question Question about a chip on the frame

Hello I'm pretty new to the motorcycle scene and had a question about my new 08 rocker c. When I brought it home last month I noticed I very minor chip on he corner of the frame where the foot peg bolts in. I didn't think much about it until now. Will this cause rusting and create problems down the road? Is it fixable or would I have to have the entire frame powder coated(I'm pretty sure the frame is powder coated)? Or am I worring about nothing? Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Sounds dumb but just use clear nail polish.

Also works great on off shore fishing reels.

Get some touch up and try not to worry about it. It sucks but it happens.

You gonna put it in a show? Ride it, so that you get more chips on it to match the one that's on there. Then tell everyone it's a theme bike. What are ya gonna do after you spill your Starbucks latte on the fender? Jeez......don't look under my Shovelhead. It has thirty years worth of chips on it, some rusty, some not. It hasn't fallen apart yet.

Try Semi-gloss touch up first. If that is NOT shiny enough to match, then try gloss. JMFUO (cause that's what I do )

G/F's driveway is steep and has a big lip going up to it. I've scraped my frame several times going up it. Gotta check it out next time I change the oil and slap on some rustoleum.

Touch-up pen from the parts counter works for me.

I feel fortunate that the older I get, the less I worry about these things. Used to be a knick or ding in a new ride would ruin my day. (And everyone elses.) Not so much anymore. Find a close enough match and glob it on. Don't sweat the petty things, and damn sure don't pet the sweaty things.
