Moved from Massillon , Ohio, ( about 60 minutes south of Cleveland ), almost 2 years ago.
Had wanted to move for a while, but the last straw was when I bought my new Ultra in '06, and only put 4,000 miles on it the first year, mostly due to weather.
I now get to ride any day I choose.
The 'good' riding days in Ohio are beautiful !! Just to few and far between.
Check out the Quaker Steak & Lube in Independence. They have a HUGE 'Bike Night'.
My office was in Solon for 15 years. Nice community. Look for homes in Solon, Twinsburg, Hudson, Moreland Hills, Auburn, Aurora...lots of great choices within a short commute.
Fun bike nights at Quaker Steak & Lube every Wednesday night in Valley View. (500+ bikes)
Nice rides on the SE side would be taking RT43 or RT82 East. Ohio is loaded with back roads in almost every direction. You can traverse the whole State without getting on the Interstate which is fun.
Good day/weekend trips include Cedar Point in Sandusky, Bike week in Sandusky sponsored by Roediger HD. The Lake Erie Islands just West of Sandusky including Put-In-Bay are great rides in the Summer.
Your closest dealer is Southeast HD which is about 6-7 miles away. Hope this helps. If you have any questions PM me.
I enjoy the Amish country. Some will let you into their homes. They sell handmade foods such as canned goods, jams, and handmade sewn items including quilts. In any event, it's interesting because it takes you back about 100 years before electricity and into the horse and buggy era.
There are still operating harness makers, blacksmiths, etc to build and maintain the wagons and buggies. There will be stores around which sell their items too.
Try the Millersburg area. I can't recall the distance but I'd guess about 150 miles S of Solon. Maybe someone knows a better place - that's just where I've been.
This was already mentioned but I will push the message once more, on wed. night in Valley View located right off the Ohio Canal (historical road with some interesting areas) there is a bike night that once last summer on a very good night, which I just happened to be there, they said that a record 5000 bikes had shown up for that nights activities, now some of these bikes probably cruised in and around and then rode on down the Canal scenic road, but to see that many bikes in one area is great. Also so I do not leave out my second best motorcycle cruise-in, I will mention thurs. night at the Quaker Steak in Avon, which is right off RT. I-90, this is an excellent event with just about the same turnout as the wed. night cruise-in. These are just two of the many around, I'm sure there will be more posts about the others in Oh.

Good luck in your new venture.
I'm right in the middle of that area. Millersburg is 80 miles south of Solon. If anyone is ever in the area and wants a tour send me a message and will go for a back road cruise. My dad was actually born Amish but his parents left soon after his birth.
My wife and I thought it would be fun to ride 41 from here down to the river. There's a large Amish area down there once you start getting into the hills. This wasn't a clump here or there, the whole frikkin highway was covered. Something we'll never do again
