Being from Pittsburgh. I can tell you one thing; the best view of Cleveland will be from your rear view mirrors. Just kidding. Enjoy the relocation.
We go to the Blossom Center in Cuhayoga Falls regularly for rock concerts. Great venue.
We ride to Sandusky and Putten Bay every year for a long weekend. Nice trip for us from the Burgh. Great place for partying and once on the island, you can't tell you're in OH.
Erie, PA: Big HD rallye every year in July.
and Pittsburgh, of course.
The OH guys will certainly tell you more about local places of interest.
Dont forget the rock and roll hall of fame museum... I go every time i get to cleveland... The indy car race at the airport is sweet too but i actually passed it up a few years ago for the museum cause it was like 100 out... I havent been to the island since i was a kid coming on my dads boat from detroit!... I havent been to sandusy since we quit racint the sprint car but i need to make that trip again to the speedway too.... Lots to do in ohio.
We have some beautiful roads here in Holmes/Tusc/Wayne counties that would be a good day trip. Just watch out for Amish buggies and rough roads right now.
just dont try to find A LOT of good roads to ride on. everything out here is north to south and east to west and its all flat. no hills or bends...hardly

You've obviously never been to my area. Mid Eastern Ohio is hilly and curvy as can be. Check it out sometime.
I see you are moving from Boise, Idaho to Solon. My brother-in-law lives in Boise. I live in Kent which is about twenty miles south of Solon.
First if all, get use to the idea that you will see very little sun from Nov. through Mar.. It's fair to say that summers are great.
If you head due east from Solon you are in the country in about ten minutes. Visit Middlefield and the Amish restaurants. Nelson ledges, also east of Solon has a few bars and some nice scenery.
Geneva on the lake is a bikers paradise every weekend.
Just west is the Cuyahoga Valley Park system. Lots of quiet winding roads. It's a big park area. Watch for deer.
All of these are within a 40 mile radius of Solon.
Route 2 along Lake Erie is a nice ride... get to Sandusky... nice little town.
Just southwest of Canton is also Amish country with a bunch of smooth rural roads and great scenery... watch for buggies.
I hope you have some diversion to keep from cabin fever during the winter.
Welcome to Ohio.
