Ok so I need some advice on chaning out my handlebars. Little background on me, pretty handy, but never worked on a bike mutch before recently. I have an 08 Fat Bob, on which I have switched out my levers, grips, pegs, mirrors, slip on mufflers, etc. All pretty basic stuff.
So, I want to have my bars powder coated, which my shop will do for $100. The only problem is they want $240 to remove and reinstall the bars, which frankly, I don't have to spend right now. My shop said they have to pull the tank off cause the bars are wired internally. I am a little hesitant to pull the bars myself because of this. What are your thoughts on this? Should I spend the money? Is this easier than I think? Can I do this simply? Did OJ kill his wife?
