Default Filling holes in fender

I recently took off the tank emblems on my 08 RKC and really like the way it looks. I would like to remove the Road King emblems from the front fender but am looking for suggestions how to plug the holes after the emblems are removed. I don't want to weld and grind and have to repaint the fender so I was wondering if anybody knows of some type of plug or something that I could paint to match that would work. I don't want to take the emblems off until I know for sure I can plug the holes. Thanks in advance.

One idea that comes to mind is the right size round head rivit and hit it with some brush on touch up paint or you could even go with a stainless rivit.

Thanks. I'll hit the hardware store and see what I can find.

You could go and get a small carriage head bolt chrome/ or paint one...

The head is nice and rounded... Just a thought...

I used some aircraft rivets with those push on clips underneath like Harley uses to hold on the emblems on a fender. They have a very shallow and small head, and I just used some touch up paint on them. Really clean looking. Also, if you ever have bigger holes to hide, auto parts stores have flush fitting plastic plugs that push in. Some plastic surface primer followed by a shot of touch up paint, and it looks real good.
