16R3H Vulcans, 3/67 Larson, new barracks at end by hot dog stand and NOC club. Stopped by, it was sad seein the barracks mothballed, the Akropolis is still there and still serving kick *** greek food. Sammys beer house is closed. Lanbier Keller is closed.

Make sure to pay by credit card as much as you can. The credit card companies will get a much better exchange rate than you will....have fun the Germans are great people and its a great country, make sure to check out as many castles as you can...

Did a couple of tours with the 1st Armored at Ferris Barracks in Erlangen. If your looking for a sweet ride, it's hard to beat Garmisch. There isn't a boring mile between Munich and the Austrian border. Have fun and drink a Hefe Weissen for me.
Guys, most of you have been stationed in the south of Germany. But don't forget that we have a beautiful North Germany. I was born and raised in Duisburg, right by the Rhine river....the dirty part of the Rhine with lots of industry (it's much better now though), but I also lived for 10 years in Luebeck on the Baltic Sea. Isabel I used to hit Putlos on the Baltic sea twice a year, beautiful area, worked with
the Bundewher and did gunnery there, interesting times. Better times in Germany now as one country though.

HOG website lists all the HD stores that do rentals.
You could also check out the "Fly n Ride" part of the HD website.
Be prepared to drop a lot of cash on the rental deposit as some places wont take a cred card imprint because of Fraud concerns (for you and them!).
Gimme a shout if you make it as far south as Switzerland
