H-D Payment Protection Plan

Looks like some of the dealers are offering payment protection plans for new buyers. It'll be interesting to see if this brings up sales numbers...

That doesn't insure YOU, that insures the LENDER. So you pay insurance to insure that the lender gets their money if you die, get injured, lose job, etc.

Waste of money. If your that close to the edge, don't finance.

Looking into it a little more, this is the same company that backs the "Hyundia Assurance Plus" marketing campaign that Hyundia currently has going on.

Yeah, this is NOT HD Financing.
As rdam said, it's an "insurance" program. Its complimentary for the first 12 months.
They don't tell you how much they charge you after that though.

Does the bike have to be financed thru HD Credit?...if so,you ARE paying for it via the ridiculous APR they charge...financed my bike thru my CU at 4.25%....7.9% was the best HD Credit offered me in 07....:>)
