Anybody know of a good quality, reliable Indy in the Minneapolis area?

I am thinking of changing my rear wheel to non-laced and don't want to attempt it myself.

On the north side, I've had very good transactions at Kokesh on 65 in E Bethel.

I was going to post this same question...too funny!

For an HD dealer, I highly suggest Crow River in Delano, very nice folks out there.

Looking forward to more Indy suggestions...

Couldn't tell ya. When I need to have someone else do my stuff I go to Hamel Power in Hamel, but that's just because it's on my way to work. I've had them cut wheel spacers and install tires for me so I'm sure they'd have no problem with a wheel swap.

How about a good Dyno tuner for Mikuni carb'd EVOs in the Metro? Sorry, I don't mean to hijack your thread.

My buddies use B & R Cycle down in Faribault. Just east of Faribault HD. My bike is still under warranty, so STP HD does mine yet.

On the southside in Lakeville.

Very pleased with Steve at S&L Big Twin Repair. Very thorough, never a problem with the work. Much better then TCHD. # 952-469-5824

I'm convinced that about the best is Cycle Works in Elk River. Those guys are great and have some pretty cool bikes there as well.

Just N of US 10 on the east side of Elk River.

I've heard good things about Al's Custom Cycle in River Falls.

Jimmy Scanlan, Eastside St Paul, Phalen area. 612-414-0752 He's built a couple of baggers lately. One won @ Donnie Smith. Lot of ol' time parts available. Got the chrome tranny in the Cap'n from him.

Gringo up in Big Lake area. http://www.motopsycoswapmeets.com/ Swap Meet King
In fact, here he is.

Drawing a blank as to name(Ol' Fart moment ), right now, but used to be Lucky's Garage, right next to Whisky Junction, downtown Mpls. Last I heard, they were still wrenching there.

Up 65, Kokesh as posted, and a li'l farther up 65, guys at Isanti Performance Cycle (actually on 5, right after the tracks). They turn out some HP scoots there, too. Pat 763-444-7599

IF you're up for a 'putt', Paulie up at Hardtails in St Cloud. West side, on Hwy 75. Again, one of the Swap Kings. You could build a scoot out of the back of his swap meet trailer. Puts on a MEAN Pork barbq in Conjunction with Doochies Bar. IF you have never been on the Hardtails to Doochies Run, , then you're missin' a GOOD time.

OFF TOPIC: Flood Run Saturday. Hoping to be there. As is 'customary' Spring has arrived 2 weeks early. IT ALWAYS gets here, 2 weeks before I have ALL the scoots, ready.
This is my FIRST winter here, so wasn't quite sure how to approach "Spring". That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.

Forgot, for dyno,
IF you can $wing it, Greg Klopp. Brooklyn Park. Fastest I know of.
