Default motor swap

I have an 07 96ci Harley motor and transmision. What other years will it fit. Thanks Mickey

It came out of an 07 softail Standard . I want it to fit in as old a frame as it will fit and thats for the price. Thanks Mickey

It will fit in 00 and newer softail frames. any other frame, evo, shovel etc... will require major modifications.

I have not looked, but what about a custom frame. There used to be a lot of frame builders out there. I've used Paughco frames on projects in the past, they used to be very well built.

You have the (B) Motor it a basic softail set up and fat boy or night train frame. custom frame are just that buy a frame to fit your (B) MOTOR SET UP.

As was stated above, you need a frame designed for a "B" motor. The problem is that older frames have a seat post that goes between the engine and transmission. On your setup, the transmission bolts to the engine and is in the way of the post.

Thanks for the info on my motor swap. I know now that a 2000 up frame will fit my 07 motor and trans setup.Mickey
